Description
How it works
Each vertical plate freezer has several vertically mounted plates with refrigerant running through them. The product is simply poured into the pockets between the plates and frozen into blocks.
Savings
Direct-contact freezing speeds up the freezing of raw food and reduces energy consumption and freezing time. Because the product goes straight into the freezer, no packaging is needed, avoiding extra freezing time and possible damage to packaging.
High throughput, low labour
Semi-automated loading and unloading enables high throughput with low labour costs.
Hygienic design
The framework is made of hot-dip galvanised steel with closed box sections for easy cleaning.
Reliability
Our engineers design each unit to the customer's specifications and food processing requirements. All equipment is pre-tested before installation, and staff training and maintenance support are provided.
