The EagleTM Upright Rejector is a soft reject device that allows upright containers that are ejected for not meeting product quality specifications, to remain upright when transferred to a parallel conveyor. It’s highly effective and gentle product manipulation also enables use as a standalone line sorter.
The Eagle QuadView and Tall PRO series x-ray systems are primarily used for packaged products that are taller than they are wide. The shapes of these tall, rigid and glass containers pose unique challenges to manufacturers during their quality inspection and contaminant detection processes.
Because the Eagle Upright Rejector is a soft ejector, it is especially useful for plastic containers with irregular and unsteady bases or glass jars and PET bottles where the use of regular pusher rejectors can pose a safety risk due to glass breakage or impede product rework.
The Upright Rejector features up to 15 independently driven fingers that produce a moving transfer guide that is proportional to the product speed and can operate up to 1,000 containers per minute or 120 meters per minute.
